well on the good side i like how the key hole is covered and how it has a light on the inside. but on the bad side i dont like how the shelf is mad so that the safe has to be turned on its side to be used but then the key pad is sideways as well and also the metel seems to be a bit thin but over all a good safe

I have no complaints about this safe. I does the job and is easy to use. I highly reccomend it to anyone that wants to keep their laptop or other items of similar size safe.

This safe does the job better than a metal box you can buy a Home Depot. The metal casing is thin but the door is very heavy with most of the safe’s weight. It is more of a lock box than a true safe. Actually you never have to even use the key pad combo as the keys always work. The materials and workmanship are are medium to low quality. I just removed the “Made in China” sticker from the bottom. There is evidence of cheap, shoddy workmanship throughout. Such as the Honeywell emblem on the front being crocked! The small shelf bracket is useless. The cloth strip meant to cushion the door doesn’t even cover its entire length and is cut uneven. There is also a square piece of cushioning that is supposed to stick to the bottom of the safe that looks like it was cut out by a first grader with ADD. When you take the factory sticker off of the handle you are left with a sticky mess that will not come off. All said it is useful as a lock box and has holes drilled to secure it to the bottom of a drawer. For the price though I am slightly disappointed with the overall quality and workmanship.
